2016年是萬翔精機-光電事業處發展歷程上的重要里程碑，不僅已獨立建廠並增購許多相關設備，如昇華機、OLED蒸鍍機、精密的檢測儀器等，更重新整合全新研發團隊，將光電事業處發揮最大效益。在照明、智能手機、OLED TV、穿戴設備以及虛擬實境(VR)的快速發展下，OLED憑借更加輕薄、高對比度、柔性可彎曲等明顯優勢將更上一層樓。基於 OLED未來市場應用前景廣闊，萬翔精機-光電事業處獨立拆分，於2016年正式成立萬翔材料科技股份有限公司。
萬翔材料由OLED發明人陳金鑫顧問及溫世文博士帶領研發團隊及全體員工，產能每月穩定成長、定期推出新產品、具備申請專利與智慧財產權的實力，擁有最完整與最先進的材料技術及Cost down的能力；並持續秉持著誠信、創新、品質、服務的原則，用最優異的品質呈現給客戶；並依照既定的計劃繼續往前，積極開發市場，致力於成為有機光電材料和特用化學品的首選製造商。
Origin
Shine Materials was derived from Wan Hsiang Precision Machinery Co., LTD. Dept. of OLED materials which is set up in Kaohsiung since 2011. The main product we make and sell is the materials of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode). Due to lots of top synthesis equipment, the unique purification and the precise testing instruments, we always make the products in the best quality. Now, Shine Materials has made a good long-term relationship with many industry and academic institutes by researching and developing organic electronic materials. Base on the prospect of OLED are brightening in the future, Shine Materials decided to separate from Wan Hsiang-Dept. of OLED materials in 2016.
